We are going through a critical time in this world of accepting love, peace, and caring as the main way to live. Instead, we use propaganda, hate, and narrow-mindedness to exclude one another from living as their whole selves.

 

Are there any human beings that are the same? Absolutely not. We all have different DNA, cultures, experiences, beliefs, trauma, interpretations, dreams, preferences, aspirations, consciousness, feelings, abilities, intelligence, creativity, and wants and needs. Don't you agree? It is astonishing that although Allah made us uniquely and beautifully different, there are many that want us to think the same, act the same, dress, the same, love the same, and have the exact same relationship with God.

 

None of us are better than each other. I fell in love with Islam because of the life of Muhammad. I fell in awe with how he respected and treated the women in his life. I fell in amazement at his empathy and kindness towards prisoners of war. I feel in gratitude for his ability to forgive and be patient with people who ridiculed and abused him.

 

I chose to follow him in my own humanly possible and unique way. Respecting others, showing empathy, and forgiving those who abused me. I was blessed to have a wonderful mother and grandmother. Strong wonderful women that always helped me to stay on the right path, the path to the harmony of my soul.
